Terms & Conditions

Registration Fees
  • Registration fees include access to all scientific sessions, exhibition access, scheduled breaks, and a CME Certificate (where applicable).
  • All registration fees are subject to 5% VAT in accordance with UAE regulations.
Registration & Payment
  • Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
  • Payment can be made online using Visa or Mastercard.
  • A confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued once payment has been successfully processed.
  • Any outstanding amounts must be settled before attending the Event.
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to edec@wearemci.com.
  • Cancellations received 45 days or more prior to the 19th March 2027 by 23:59 (GMT +4 | UAE Time) will receive a refund less an administration fee of USD 100.
  • Cancellations received 44 days or less prior to the 19th March 2027 from 00:01 (GMT +4 | UAE Time) are non-refundable.
  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Delegate Substitutions
  • Delegate substitutions are permitted at no additional charge.
  • Requests must be submitted in writing no later than 30 days prior to the 19th March 2027 until 23:59 (GMT +4 | UAE Time).
  • Requests received after this deadline may not be accepted.
Duplicate Registrations and/or Abstracts
  • If your registration is completed by a sponsor, or if multiple registration and/or abstract submission accounts are created using different email addresses or personal details, it is your responsibility to notify edec@wearemci.com and request that your accounts be linked or merged.
  • To be eligible for any applicable refund, edec@wearemci.com must receive your notification by the published refund deadline for the event. Failure to do so may result in duplicate accounts remaining unlinked, your abstract submission not being associated with your registration, exclusion from the scientific program or event communications, and/or the loss of refund eligibility.
  • EDEC 2027 accepts no responsibility for any consequences arising from unlinked or duplicate accounts where notification is not received by the applicable deadline and reserves the right to refuse refund requests submitted after the published refund deadline.
Event Postponement
  • If the Event is postponed due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organisers:
  • Registrations will automatically transfer to the revised Event dates.
  • Participants unable to attend may request a refund.
  • Approved refunds will be subject to an administration fee of USD 50 or AED 200, plus any applicable banking and transaction charges.
  • The Organisers are not responsible for travel, accommodation, visa, insurance or other related costs incurred by participants.
Travel & Airspace Restrictions
  • Airspace-related disruption will only qualify where the official national airspace of the host country is formally closed by the competent governmental authorities of that country, preventing the Event from taking place as scheduled.
  • Flight cancellations, airline operational changes, visa refusals, travel advisories, or restrictions imposed by other countries do not entitle participants to a refund beyond the cancellation policy stated above.
Visa Requirements
  • Participants are responsible for obtaining any required visas and travel documentation.
  • The Organisers are not responsible for costs or losses arising from visa delays or refusals.
Photography & Recording
  • Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the Event for promotional and archival purposes.
  • Participants who do not wish to appear in such materials should notify the Organisers in writing prior to edec@wearemci.com.
Privacy
  • By registering, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal information for Event administration and related communications.
General
  • The Organisers reserve the right to amend the programme, speakers, venue, dates or timings where necessary.
  • All deadlines and timings are based on GMT +4 (UAE Time).
